AI for good grants and funding calls
Direct funding for organizations applying AI to social impact: grants, open calls, pooled funds and foundation programs. This page lists every funding opportunity ImpactOpen tracks, grouped by whether you can apply today.
A few patterns worth knowing before you apply. The largest open calls right now (Citi Foundation, Humanity AI) both run two-stage processes with a short letter of inquiry first, so the real deadline is earlier than the headline date. Several of the biggest initiatives on this list (Google.org AI Opportunity Fund, Horizon 1000, Breakthroughs to Follow-Through) do not run open calls at all and flow through partners, so they are listed as rolling but are really relationship-driven. And most US foundation money here requires 501(c)(3) status; if you are an LLC, social enterprise or non-US organization, filter for the global calls first.
